The first FLC of 2011 has been completed on the 16th April, and afterwards we rode out to The Ponderosa, on the Horseshoe Pass at Llangollen. This was the biggest post FLC ride out with 25 bikes taking part. Some pictures from the day

On the Sunday Ride out on the 10th April we came across an injured cyclist on the decent from Bwlch-y-groes, Wales' highest pass. Apparently the cyclist had hit a sheep on the steep decent at about 40+ mph and had serious gravel rash and cuts and bruises. He was lucky that he didn't break any bones. Also his cycle helmet was seriously damaged, so that saved his head…… we all stopped and Mike B gave the first aid, using most of the contents my first aid kit on my bike. We ended up taking him down the hill to the farmhouse at the bottom of the hill, where the ambulance turned up to patch him up.
